Hello, You can update your installer disk to xp sp3. I recommend using nlite to slipstream the service pack into your install cd. Link: Nlite also has tools to generate the required files for automated windows installation and driver integration. Here is a link to xp sp3: There are other ways of doing this but nlite makes the process simple. If you do not want to use a thrid party tool here is a guide that does not require one (but I recommend nlite): Let me know if you have any trouble. Also if you are working with a single system you may just want to image the disk and restore that image when you have problems.
